Circling the earth with multiple waves of Rosaries
The WORLDWIDE ROSARY FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. Participants will pray the Rosary during the 9:00 a.m.* hour for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies. Because participants will be praying the Rosary during the 9:00 a.m. hour according to the particular time zone they are in, it is hoped that the earth will be circled with multiple waves of Rosaries within a 24-hour time period.

We have been taking the kids around the block at sunset. It is beautiful out and the air is crisp. My son is allowed to take his scooter (a big step for me and for him) and my daughter takes her babies. It takes us about 25 minutes to go around the block which would be about 4 if I was alone but it is so much fun. They point out everything and my son is getting better on the scooter. He has never ridden in the street and the first night he wiped out two times. Thank God for helmets.

For my birthday last week, I had Jay clean out the shed (Yes, that’s what I wanted for my birthday) In the process though, it was decided (for now) that we are done having babies, and it was time to make some room in said shed, have a garage sale and get rid of baby stuff. So I sadly got rid of the bassinet, the swing,the half dozen boxes of baby girl clothes. While I like the idea of another baby, its probably not the best idea when we have a 3 bedroom house and a negative bank account. Who knows! Certainly not 2 Lesbos Goin At It. We have no idea what to make of this entire mess about the babies. Maybe John Edwards is to blame.
The latest report is that Bristol is 17, married and missed several months of school due to an illness.
I suppose Bristol could: 1) be wearing a dress that makes her look pregnant 2) is pregnant or 3) still looks a little pregnant from a recent pregnancy but we’ll need several more months to figure that out and . . . the election will be over.
Again, let’s just not talk about it and blame John Edwards.
Two final thoughts: 1) it sucks that the McCains seem to take lots of family pictures without their adopted daughter and 2) isn’t that the kid from the Adam’s family in the very front?

My Boss is coming back from his paternity leave today (Thank. Fucking. God.). My boss’ boss just started his yesterday. One of my counterparts/coworker/fellow babysitters just announced her good news in the last few days and there are apparently mathematical coordination’s going on in a different office to accommodate all the paternits in the next few months. It looks a little like this.
Me? Well I have nothing to report. Still here. Still not pregnant. Still trying to work out how to fund a baby. Its hard math man. Trying to come up with magic money kinda looks a little something like this.
Wish that equation sex = babies was actually real. That sounds WAY more fun than math.

When I was a kid, I was always amazed with cartoons that had faceless characters. Once, when I was about four years old, I was watching an episode of Muppet Babies where Nanny and the Muppets were going through an old photo album of hers. The pictures, apparently taken by a blind photographer since her face was never in the shot, showed Nanny doing various odd jobs she had done over her life. One particular photo was of Nanny working at a drive-in diner as a waitress on roller skates. You could see all of her body, save for her head which was stuck inside a customer’s window. I remember wishing there was a way to rewind and pause the TV so I could get really close to the screen to scrutinize the car’s rear window, thinking there may be a face behind it.
