PepsiCo gives $500,000 to promote the gay agenda in workplace
In a bid to try to attract business from wealthy gay markets, PepsiCo has taken a stand in the market against marriage and family. To the tune of half a million dollars, the old time All-American company has made a 500,000.00 mistake.

Company ignores two requests from The American Family Association to discuss Pepsi’s support of gay groups.
Pepsi has given Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) a half-million dollars to help push the homosexual agenda in the workplace.
Pepsi has a long tradition of financial support for homosexual groups. According to Jacqueline Millan, director of PepsiCo Corporate Contributions, “We are delighted to continue our partnership with PFLAG…(in) promoting the necessary message of inclusion to untapped groups…and that is a crucial step toward building a healthy working environment.”

Yeah that’s my front yard. including the about 2 feet of snow. lovely. Also apparently my family is just red neck enough to plant our Christmas tree out in front in our snow bank. CLASSY.
This Is where I should be.
With perhaps a bit less house clone-age going on. Ahh Arizona sounds nice right now. Someday I will live there. I also wouldn’t mind being back here:

We now have 2 college students!
Today JP & I went to a community college and signed him up for a class this semester. The advisor is also checking with an instructor for JP to enroll in another class as well. Both classes are in Computer Science so right up his alley. :-) He is happy about the classes!
We were in the building with the library, found the building with admissions (paid the bill) and the bookstore, and found where his (hopefully) second class will be and the closest parking lot.
The one he is in for sure is all online so he is eager to work at his own pace. The other is just one night a week.
>insert happy Snoopy dance here!<

Becky had suggested that we get a professional photographer to take some group pictures of the family while we were all together for our 25th anniversary celebration.
I thought we could get lots of good pictures ourselves.
The results show that Becky’s idea was probably the way to go. But I shall not admit it to her.
One of the first was a mixed bag with eyes looking this way and that and… well, take a look - that’s what everybody in the picture was doing…
So we try again and Becky, loving being the center of attention, draws everyone to her but hides Steve completely.
So we try again and Becky, bless her heart, messes this one up (with, maybe some help from Martha!).
So we try again. We move Martha and Becky but - well - close but not quite what we wanted and a professional might have been a better idea.
But, maybe not [...]

Yesterday I met up with some friends from church to do some quick pictures. I have always wanted to go down to this local train yard for some pictures and thankfully everyone was totally up for it! It was a cold, dreary day, but we managed to brave it and grab some fast shots!
Here is a sneak peak!
peace & love.

The new family project for January is the Learn See Do board. Each night we sit down together as a family and write down something that we would like to learn about, go see together as a family, or do as a family or homeschool activity.
The idea behind this is to get the family together everyday and THINK! The girls are learning about critical thinking, planning, goal setting, brainstorming, communication, introspection and decision making.

Yes, school is back in session. Wow, those two weeks of vacation went fast. I can only imagine how public and private school teachers feel when they return to look into 30 little faces after two weeks of vacation! Yowsers!
The last two weeks were rather carefree. Yes, they were hectic and a bit chaotic but there was a carelessness to them because we didn’t have school.
I must applaud the twins though. They did really well for the first day. They remembered a lot more then I gave them credit to remember.
I take a lot of comfort in knowing that God will be with us each step of the way. Sometimes I think “Oh no, I am so messing this up!”. Then Rylan or Skylar will surprise me with something that shows me they are really learning. Then I am just glowing with [...]

I had catch up sessions with 2 very different groups of friends recently. one group was actually people who are friends of a friend [we all met when we were in melbourne]; so we ended up at PS Cafe @ Palais Renaissance [most expensive coffee and cake i ever had: 15 bucks for each one of the 4 of us. geez.] but we got caught up in talking about any and everything, including the dreaded M word. and yes, one of them [with bf present] is already thinking of buying a flat and her dad has been talking about babies [eek! we all know how i feel about that topic]. then someone mentioned sthg about ‘failed relationships’; and immediately, heads sorta of whipped ard in my direction. I know that some pple ‘pity’ me; that i have had previous relationships and that because they have not ended up in marriage therefore they [...]

Something I wrote on my son’s first birthday but never got around sending it….
Usaid, just after his birth
Our loving & dear ones,
Its a another big day in our life (me and mariam ) and we can’t keep ourselves from sharing our thoughts with all of you, our loved ones! Its our son’s first birthday “Congratulations to him” (he has been doing a good job bearing us!! hahah)
I remember that early morning a year ago very vividly, when Usaid came knocking at the door at 3:24 am on of 19th November 2007 and was over 5 days late. I guess he was ready to step into this world and move ahead, as he has done so powerfully since that day.
The kind of love he awakened in us took us by surprise. It’s not more or better than other love, only different. Different from the way we love each other different from the way we love our parents, brothers and sister and [...]
